Do you want to join a leading player in the climate adaptation area and further our business in Southern Denmark? Can you use your extensive knowledge and network to ensure success in our and drainage and climate adaption solutions? And are you looking for the opportunity to join a great department and make your mark on the green agenda? Then, this could be the opportunity for you!
Shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish
Our environment is changing, and we work to ensure that we are ready to face the challenges that are coming. To make sure that we are on the forefront of our area and that we have a continuous and proactive dialogue with the market, we are looking for an experienced colleague to join our climate adaption team. We are 170 team members working alongside our customers on some of Denmark's most significant projects within climate adaption, and we are thrilled to have contributed to projects in both utilities, industry, and within the green transition. These include e.g. Power to X in Esbjerg, lock projects in Aabenraa and Kolding, Lego and rainwater management in Bolbro for VCS.
We are looking for a colleague who has extensive knowledge in the drainage and climate adaption area. Possibly, you have previously had a similar role focused partly on projects and partly on market development. Alternatively, you have worked in a Specialist or Project Manager role within climate adaption, and you are now ready to move on and up into a business development role. If you have the right background and experience, you will have the possibility to become part of our management team. Your focus will be on southern Denmark – more specifically on our offices in Odense, Esbjerg and Vejle.
You will be dividing your time between projects and business development initiatives – the exact job description can be adapted to (and in collaboration with) the right candidate.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the field of drainage and climate adaption
Coordinate and secure tasks and bids
Maintain, expand and leverage networks, especially in Southern Denmark
Mentoring juniors and significantly contributing to their professional growth
Sparring with the rest of the business development and management team
Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you will have:
A degree in engineering
Extensive knowledge in drainage and climate adaption
Minimum 10 years of experience with project management in the field of drainage and climate adaption
Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Fluency in Danish
As fluency in Danish is an important asset for this position, you are welcome to submit your application in Danish.
We will conduct interviews continuously.
